EFT Report, Milan: The so called enigma of English football ‘Mario Balotelli’ has moved back to Italy’s Serie A. Italian giants AC Milan has confirmed that they have signed the controversial-colorful striker for £19.5 Million in a four-and-a-half-year deal.
The 22-year-old talented but erratic striker is understood to have taken a paycut from his current £110,000 per-week deal with Manchester City to join AC Milan. Mario Balotelli won the Premier League and the FA Cup during his 3-year stint with Manchester City.
‘Balotelli's medicals will take place on Wednesday (Jan. 30) at Busto Arsizio and Milanello", while his first training session with the team will take place on Thursday,’ a press release from Milan website read.
Meanwhile, Manchester City were held to a 0-0 draw by relegation-threatened QPR played at Loftus Road in their EPL encounter on Jan. 30, 2013. With this draw the reigning English champions are now four points adrift of leaders Manchester United who has a game in-hand against Southampton on Jan. 31, 2013.
