EFT Report, Mumbai: Motley’s new production is a collection of three short pieces by George Bernard Shaw. The center piece is Village Wooing, his comedy for two voices in three scenes preceded by the one-act play How he lied to her Husband and a longish poem, English Pronunciation which deals with the peculiarities of spoken English, (one of his favorite themes). Village Wooing and how he lied to her Husband are affectionate satires on the processes of wooing and wedding, and their aftermath. Mr. Shaw`s razor-sharp wit and his unique take on these human rights-of-passage make for a stimulating, sparkling evening`s entertainment.
