Report by Preksha Sharma: After the likes of Paa, No One Killed Jessica, Kahaani and The Dirty Picture, Vidya Balan has reached a commendable position in Bollywood that would be every actress's dream to fulfill. Not long ago, she married the perfect guy ever, UTV boss Siddharth Roy Kapur and she still gushes about her being 'happily married.'
The Ghanchakkar actor says marriage does not have any bearing on her work, as she has a supportive husband in Siddharth Roy Kapur. Vidya says that marriage has neither put the brakes on her prize-winning acting career nor does it have any bearing on the kind of roles she would choose in future. Work-life balance is definitely possible for the Parineeta girl because she has found a supportive husband in Mr. Kapur, with whom she tied the knot in a private ceremony in December, last year.
Vidya gushes, “I am enjoying being married. The good thing is that at the end of the day you get to see each other.” Adding, the talented actress says, “I am enjoying this phase. I like to set my home, get dressed, apply sindoor, wear bangles and flowers. I have loved these things but couldn’t fulfill my dreams before marriage. Main woh sab kasar ab puri kar rahi hoon.”
We all are happy to see Vidya Balan happily married, winning awards, doing her best for the film industry. We look forward to see more of her as Vidya says she would love to act till she is 83!
