Spurs to Offer £8 Million-a-Year Deal to Gareth Bale

EFT Report, London: With all the big European elite clubs watching their prize asset closely, English club Tottenham Hotspurs will be offering Gareth Bale a £8 million-a-year deal in a bid to keep the 23-year-old at White Hart Lane.

Bale, who has 20 goals to his name in all competitions this season, had signed a 4-year contract last year worth £75,000-a-week tying him to the club until 2016. If the said deal finalized, the Welsh footballer will be getting around £150,000 a week. Spurs are on a good run-of-form in the Premier League with four consecutive wins, beating arch London rivals Arsenal FC 2-1 last weekend and sits in third spot in the points table.

Tottenham Hotspurs will take on Serie A side Inter Milan in the Europa League tonight.
