CII Online Master Class on Project Management on Feb. 22

By Santanu Ganguly, New Delhi: CII is organizing an online Master Class on “New Vistas in Project Management—Igniting Human Potential” from 1500 Hrs to 1700 Hrs on February 22, 2013.

Breakthrough and complex projects and programs are collaborative endeavors. When a project becomes larger and complex, the delivery capability of each individual team member is put to difficult tests. To succeed in them, project team members need to go beyond the obvious. An environment that encourages creativity, exploration and collaboration needs to be created, as projects are more like social networks and dynamic in nature. As the sum is greater than the individual parts, so is the power of collaborative team is much higher than the sum of individual capabilities in the project team.

Two major constituents of “human element” and “power of effective collaboration” for unlocking human potential in collaborative project endeavors will be discussed in this webinar.

Key Takeaways:

• Simple, practical and real world techniques for building and sustaining great project teams.
• How to instill the ownership among team members and the sense of pride to accomplish something worthwhile. These techniques would help in unleashing the higher levels of creativity and productivity from team members.
• Understanding complex project environments from a human network perspective.
