Yo Yo Honey Singh Booked for 'Vulgar' Song

A first information report (FIR) was filed against Punjabi rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh in Lucknow on Dec. 31, 2012 over allegedly vulgar lyrics of his song.

The complaint was lodged by senior Indian Police Service officer Amitabh Thakur for the "extremely vulgar and indecent songs" like "Main hun balatkaria" (I am a rapist).

Thakur said that he found the lyrics extremely vulgar, lewd and indecent, and felt that the song acted as an offensive catalyst for crime against women.

FIR has been registered under Sections 292, 293 and 294 of the Indian Penal Code that deal with obscenity at public place.

Other than Punjabi films, Honey Singh has sung songs for Hindi films Cocktail, Khiladi 786, Race 2 and Son of Sardar.

Hulk Hogan Opens Hogan's Beach Restaurant in Tampa

American wrestler turned reality TV star Hulk Hogan launches his own restaurant.

The 59 year old opened the doors to the Hogan's Beach Restaurant in Tampa, Florida on Dec. 31, 2012 and he hopes his fame will bring customers flocking to the venue.

"It's going to be Jimmy Buffett's (Margaritaville) times 10; Hooters times 10. It's a logical extension of the Hogan brand, with my image and likeness," he said.

"In 36 years I've become so tangible to the public, and not just Americans. We have a chance to have an international draw. I see myself almost like a general manager, creatively," he added.

Tecpro Bags Rs 95-Crore Order From S Korean Firm

Gurgaon-based engineering firm, Tecpro Systems has bagged a Rs 95-crore ($17.4 million) order from South Korea’s SK Engineering and Construction (SKEC) for supply of the entire coal and fly ash handling systems for Paco power plant in Panama (Central America).

The scope of the order includes designing, manufacturing and commissioning of the entire coal and fly ash handling systems for the power plant.

EPL: Arsenal FC Thrashes Newcastle Utd 7-3 in 10-Goal Thriller at Emirates

Well.. what a way to end the year 2012 if you are a die-hard Gunners fans (like I am..) then a good old 7-3 thrashing of Newcastle United at your own home ground (Emirates Stadium). After his performance in this match where he scored a hattrick and probably the cheekiest goal (the third goal) of the season, Theo Walcott surely deserved a better and much improved contract extension.

The Premier League match played at Emirates on December 29 ended 7-3 in favor of Arsenal FC. Theo Walcott scored a hattrick, Olivier Giroud (who came in as a substitute) a brace, a goal each from Alex Chamberlain and Podolski for Arsene Wenger men while Marveaux, Demba Ba and an own goal from Jack Wilshere helped the Toons to a respectable 3 goal in the 10 goal thriller match.

With this win Arsenal FC stay at 5th spot in the EPL table with 33 points from 19 games while Alan Padrew men are languishing at 15th spot just 3 points from the bottom three.

EPL: Man Utd Maintain 7 Point Lead Over Man City With 2-0 Win Over West Brom

Manchester United finish 2012 atop of the Premier League and more importantly 7 points clear of arch rivals Manchester City after a comfortable 2-0 win over West Brom at Old Trafford on December 29.

Rihanna Nude Pictures Leak Online (See Photos)

Barbadian singer Rihanna snapped nude during her Christmas vacation in Barbados. The photos surfaced online show the singer alternating between bikini and nudity on a holiday home balcony.

Rihanna is pictured bending over to flash her rear end at the camera, and seen completely nude from the side with a bird's eye view of her breasts. It appears she was changing from one bikini to another when the nude photos were snapped. It's not clear if Rihanna knew the photos were being taken, but in some shots she seems to be looking right at the photographer.

Ten Metro Stations in Delhi Closed on Dec. 29

Delhi Metro shut down 10 stations in the Indian capital on Dec. 29, 2012 on a request from Delhi police, who fear mass protests following the death of the gang-rape victim in Singapore.

The 10 stations are: Pragati Maidan, Mandi House, Barakhamba Road, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhavan, Race Course, Jor Bagh and Khan Market.

Inter-change services would continue at Rajiv Chowk and Central Secretariat stations. But no one will be allowed to enter or exit from these stations.
