Report by Santanu Ganguly: Persistence Resistance 2014, one of the country's finest documentary, short and fiction feature film festival is back in the city, which will bring you four days of conversations with cinema.
Cinema is about a language of change. Cinema is about choice, narrative, technology and representation. Cinema is about aesthetics and politics. Cinema is about visuals and voices from the margins. Cinema is about knowledge and revelation. Cinema is about conversations between films, filmmakers and film lovers.
Conversations at Persistence Resistance 2014 will focus on interrogating collaborative practices in filmmaking. Collaboration between filmmakers and creative crew, between politics and aesthetics, between directors and subjects, between vision and technology.
The 2014 edition of the festival will present 8 in-depth conversations with practitioners on their craft and collaborations.
