Marwar Ratan Awards 2013-14 Announced

Report by Santanu Ganguly:  Marwar Ratan Awards that are presented every year by the Mehrangarh Museum Trust were announced recently. Applications were invited in September under various fields such as education, science and technology, social work, sports, etc. This year two new awards have been added in the existing list i.e in the field of women empowerment; Rajdadisa Badan Kanwar Bhatiyaniji award and to motivate girls education; Her Highness Rajmata Krishna Kumariji Award.

“This year we received more than hundred applications for these special awards. The committee members had a meeting and after discussion, names were submitted to Managing Trustee. After receiving approval from the trustee, names were announced. Soon these awards shall be presented in Marwar Ratan Award ceremony”, said, Dr Kr. Mahendra Singh Naggar, Director General, Mehrangarh Museum Trust.
