At the campaign’s launch, Anurag Kashyap and Farooq Sheikh will interact with MSF’s staff from medical projects in India about people’s health needs. The issues that will take stage are providing treatment and counseling for patients with HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis, medical assistance for mothers and newborns in Chhattisgarh, management of medical care during emergencies, and treating kala azar in Bihar, a neglected disease.
Anurag Kashyap & Farooq Sheikh along with MSF staff will also inaugurate the “Who cares?” exhibition that takes people behind the scenes of medical humanitarian action. This interactive exhibition lets people experience what is involved in delivering medical care to those who need it most.
Globally, celebrated citizens like Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Robin Williams, Javier Bardem, James Blunt and Toni Collete have supported MSF.
