EFT Report, London: With Real Madrid Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain's move (reportedly to cost around £22 million) to the Emirates almost in the bag, Arsene Wenger now wants to strengthen his midfield for the upcoming season and have set his sight on Everton FC Belgium star Marouane Fellaini.
But there is a hitch, the 25-year-old Belgium, who gets £75,000-per-week at Everton, wants a hefty increase in his pay (around £100,000-per-week). In addition to this, Arsenal FC will also have to dish-out his £22 million release clause.
Russian club Zenit St Petersburg and mega-rich Manchester City are also reportedly closely monitoring the Belgium.
