EFT Report, New York: Their in-fighting’ were making more waves then the talent show that they were supposed to mentor, now both the divas Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj have announced that they quitting the reality talent show American Idol after just one season amid the growing rumor that former judge Jennifer Lopez is coming back on-board.
Mariah (43), who is reportedly paid a whooping $18 million, has officially confirmed her departure from the show, while her rival Nicki Minaj (29) tweeted: 'Thank you American Idol for a life changing experience! Wouldn't trade it for the world! Time to focus on the Music!!! Mmmuuuaahhh!!!'
Ratings of American Idol hits an all time low in its 12-year-history this season. Even Randy Jackson, the only original judge remaining on the show, had announced earlier that he won’t be coming back next season.
