Real Madrid Overtakes Man Utd as Richest Football Club

EFT Report, London: With players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka and coach Jose Mourinho among its rank, Spanish giants Real Madrid FC have over taken English club Manchester United FC as the richest football club in the world, according to Forbes.

Real Madrid are valued at £2.15 billion, with Manchester United at £2.07 billon. FC Barcelona are third and Arsenal FC fourth, ahead of Bayern Munich in fifth place.

‘Real Madrid have been consistently delivering the highest revenues of any team in the world, despite an intense economic meltdown in Spain,’ a Forbes spokesman said. PSG’s David Beckham is the top-earning player at £33 million.
