EFT Report, London: Buzz around the footballing world is that Chelsea FC owner Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich has given the green signal to assemble a financial package worth £200,000-a-week to land Colombian goal-scoring machine Radamel Falcao and will also meet Atletico Madrid’s £46 million asking price come this summer.
The 27-year-old Colombian, who has 25 La Liga goals to his name this season, has been on the London’s club radar for a while now and talks with the Colombian’s representatives and Atletico chiefs have been ongoing for months.
Chelsea FC take on Swiss football club FC Basel in the first leg of Europa League semis at St. Jakob-Park on April 26, the return leg will be at the Bridge one week later.
