‘Vriddhi: Evolution’ at Zorba
EFT Report, New Delhi: The spirit of India will now burst on to the stage of Zorba on 2nd March, 2013 in the form of fine music wherein Carnatic Music is brought to the fore front through the agency of Advaita. Combining classical restraints with quality of inner tension, Kuchipudi Dance Academy organizes VRIDDHI, a show that offers ‘One Stage for Them All’.

A fusion between classical carnatic musician Sudha Raghuraman, Flautist G. Raghuraman and Advaita, will enlighten the stage with a power and grace unparalleled by anything similar seen before in Perth. Trained in the traditional Guru Shishya Parampara, Guru Jayarama, Vedabrata Rao and Vanashree Rao are known for reloading the stage with ornate and beautiful details conveying a pure flow of dance. Vriddhi thus provides a platform for new talents to ‘Rise’ and express themselves. Not only the young artists, Vriddhi has also realized the potential of ‘differently-abled’ youngsters through dance-theater traditions.

Vriddhi: Evolution will be honored by dazzling opening act where Vishal Nagar (Tabla Maestro) would be jamming with Terry McCaw (Jazz Pianist).
