Sam Mendes Turns Down Next James Bond Flick
EFT Report, London: Skyfall director Sam Mendes has turned down offer to direct the next James Bond 007 flick despite ‘Skyfall’ making over £700 million worldwide to become the most successful Bond flick in the 50-year franchise.
The 47-year-old acclaimed English filmmaker and former husband of Academy award wining actress Kate Winslet says theatre commitments mean he couldn’t accept an offer to return for the 24th Bond film.
