Chelsea FC, Madrid in Lead for City’s Yaya Toure Signature

EFT Report, Manchester: Spanish giants Real Madrid and Chelsea FC are on alert after the latest Yaya Toure’s development this week, the 29-year-old Ivorian international has put in an ultimatum saying he will leave this summer unless Manchester City hand him a new deal by Saturday (March 23).

Toure, who gets £220,000-a-week, still has 2 years left in his City’s contract and will have to pay £22 million to buy his way out. Under new FIFA rules, players (over the age of 28) can buy out their contracts if they have not been offered a new deal after 3 years at a club.
