‘Modern Day Dervish: Sufi Wisdom’ Workshop From March 15–17

By Santanu Ganguly, New Delhi: Akash Dharamraj does not need any introduction in the world of Sufis. I know her deeply and have experienced her work. She is one the best facilitators I know and it’s a blessing for us to receive from her.

I have been observing people at home and at work, locked into unnatural ways of being. We have no time to meet our selves, and often project our un-met selves upon those whom we encounter, and become screens for the projections of others…leading to fragmented, unrewarding relationships.

I asked myself, instead of feeling sad, or running away, what can we do?

What does the Sufi within me say?

The answer came quickly…The Sufi says “This too is divine!”

The Sufi says, “meet yourself, open your heart, love and heal yourself, dance & be joyous… be a carrier of light”

So, this workshop is all about us—The Modern Day Dervish.

The Program:

‘Modern Day Dervish: Sufi Wisdom’ Workshop From March 15–17
‘Modern Day Dervish: Sufi Wisdom’
This workshop is based on techniques that are particularly suitable for 21st century humans, includes:

Who is in?—A highly structured awareness process, that cuts through the layers of personality swiftly and clearly, straight to our Center.

Opening the Heart—Using trusted Sufi techniques updated with modern psycho technology.

Healing with Wazifas—The 99 names of the divine.

Sacred Dances—An exploration through the Dervish dances from the teachings of George Gurdjieff.

Experiencing the wild Sufi threshold:

Zhikr—An intense process of alternating powerful sounds and healing chants, breathing, silence and ’stop!’

Whirling—a circular movement where we dissolve ourselves into existence.

Akash Dharmaraj, a Sufi master, started her Sufi journey with a teacher in Kashmir. She is an instructor in Gurdjieff Sacred dances and Fourth Way Techniques. Akash is also trained as a Clinical Psychologist, Transactional Analyst and Psychotherapist. She skilfully blends clinical therapeutic methods with healing systems of crystals, essential oils, colours, meditations, chakra healing, music, movements and dance. Working with people over 30 years, Akash has understood the depth of body mind connections and builds healing processes around individuals and groups.
