According to reports from 58 constituencies, CPI-M is leading in 49 seats out of 60. The Congress was leading in just 9 seats. The northeastern state of Tripura made history when a record 93.57 percent of the 2.3 million voters exercised their franchise in the Feb 14 assembly election.
