EFT Report, London: Despite not wining any silverwares for the past 7 years running and the growing call for his head from the Gunners faithful Frenchman Arsene Wenger is all set to ink a 2 more year deal extension to his current Arsenal FC contract.
Wenger, whose £7 million-a-year salary makes him one of the highest-paid bosses in the footballing world, current deal runs out in June 2014 but Emirates officials want the 63-year-old to stay. Since taking over Arsenal FC in 1996, Gunners have won 3 Premier titles and 4 FA Cups under him; their last silverware win coming in 2005.
Already out of FA Cup and Capital One Cup, Arsenal’s last hope of any silverware this season is the Champions League. They take on Bundesliga’s leader Bayern Munich in the Champions League last 16 Round.
