EFT Report: Liverpool FC today announced Jurgen Klopp as the club’s new manager. A short statement published on the club website on Thursday night provided the news for which Liverpool supporters had been hoping ever since Brendan Rodgers was sacked. Klopp will be presented to the media on Friday morning.
Klopp has signed a bumper three year deal worth more than £6million per year; there is also the option for them to be extended by another 12 months should he make progress.

Klopp (47) won two Bundesliga titles with Borussia Dortmund before leaving this year. The 47-year-old German first match as Liverpool boss is an away trip to White Hart Lane against Tottenham next Saturday.
