FIFA Bans Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini for 90 Days

EFT Report: In a move shown to the world as cleaning up its corruption scandal while throwing itself into a total meltdown, FIFA has now banned the two most powerful men in world football Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini for 90 days from any football-related activity following a probe by its ethics committee into the £1.35 million payment Platini received in 2011 for consultancy work for Blatter 9 years ago.

The ban effectively ends outgoing FIFA president Blatter's ambitions to stay on until February, while UEFA president Platini's hopes of succeeding looks bleak. Chief of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Issa Hayatou will now serve as acting president of FIFA .
