EFT Report, New Delhi: ASSOCHAM will organize a day's national conference on excellence in education followed by ASSOCHAM, National Education Excellence Awards 2014 on Feb. 19, 2014 at Hotel Shangri-La’s, New Delhi, India. It will felicitate those with National Education Excellence Awards who have contributed significantly in improving the quality of education, innovation, research and development.
Selection Criteria
University/Institutions/Enterprises/Corporate who wish to nominate themselves or others for the ASSOCHAM Awards of excellence in the field of Education 2014 need to furnish details about the projects they are involved with. The nominated projects will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
The above mentioned Awards would be decided by certain procedures and rules governing the evaluation of the entries. The entire process of evaluation and reporting will be conducted by the eminent jury according to certain norms and schedules. The call for nominations for the Awards will be open till 8th February 2014. The Award selection process will go through a dual process of Jury. The selected winners will be felicitated with Awards at the conference held on February 19, 2014.

Who can Participate/Nominate
University/Institutions/K – 12 School/Enterprises/ Corporate /Education solution providers / project / Programs can be nominated for the ASSOCHAM Excellence Award in Education by any of the methods stated below:
Direct application – An institution/project/ corporate can nominate themselves to the award process by filling up the nomination Form
Peer nomination – An institution/corporate can nominate any other institution project for the awards. However, the peer nominator should disclose his/ her name and details in the form.
Registration Fees:
Delegate Participation: INR 3,000 Per Delegate
Award Nomination Fee: INR 10,000 Per Category (Award Nomination Fee includes complimentary participation for two delegates)

Selection Procedure
The selection procedure for Awards nomination is sequential.
- The project will be first nominated through a Form(attached)
- The project will be evaluated according to the laid down criteria by the expert team.
- The project will also be evaluated by an independent set of jury members
- Winners will be announced at the Conference venue.
- The Winner in each category will be announced and ASSOCHAM Trophy by the Honorable Education Minister will be distributed.
Important Information
- All nominations must be submitted by 8th February 2014.
- The Finalist will be announced and felicitated at the 19th Feb. 2014 Conference venue at Hotel Shangri-La’s, New Delhi
- A booklet of the awardees and the runners up in each category with the citation will be published in booklet and widely circulated
