EFT Report, London: Steven Gerrard was assaulted by a thug outside a convenience store near his luxury home in Liverpool where he lives with his glamorous wife Alex Curran and their three young daughters. The England and Liverpool FC captain was not seriously hurt but was left badly shaken by the assault.
In a bizarre twist, a police officer was arrested soon after amid an investigation. In 2001, Steven Gerrard reportedly got death threats from members of Liverpool’s underworld.
Gerrard scored the only goal for Liverpool in their 1-3 lost to Hull City at KC Stadium on Sunday (Dec 1).
