Model Ishi Goes Nude for Pani Bachao, Mumbai Bachao Campaign

Report by Santanu Ganguly: Mumbai-based model and actress Ishi has posed completely in the buff for an environment e-poster campaign for news content agency Newz66. The online internet and social media campaign which aims to spread awareness about the importance of water conversation and its impact on the environment kicks off on 15th May 2013. Says Flynn Remedios, editor and CEO of Newz66, “Everyday in Mumbai lakhs of litres of water are wasted unnecessarily washing cars and doing other avoidable chores. Water is a precious natural resource and its conservation and prudent use is very imperative. Through this ‘shocker photo shoot’ we intend to create awareness on the social media platform, particularly among youth about the importance of water conservation. Water should be judiciously used and re-cycled whenever and where ever possible.” The posters feature a stark nude Ishi covering her modesty and chastity with only leaves, which represent the dwindling green cover in Mumbai,” explains Remedios.

Mumbai-based glamour model and actress Ishi is the latest to join the likes of Poonam Pandey, Sherlyn Chopra and the entire nude brigade. She had posed completely nude for the cover of an international men’s magazine a few months ago. Ishika is originally from Assam and has been working as a model and actress in Bollywood since the last ten years. She has also done several south films and has worked in various local and regional language films as well.

She posed nude (or almost nude) for Debonair magazine a few years ago. Since then she has graced the covers of various other Indian magazines and done glamour and fashion photo shoots with several photographers in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and even abroad.
