Report by Santanu Ganguly, Noida: It is that time of the year again when children sit at home wondering how to spend their days. Seeking to ensure that children spend their time constructively, The Millennium School, Noida has organized a Summer Camp for children.
The ongoing Summer Camp offers a variety of activities allowing children to explore their interests across fields like sports, cookery, art and craft, cultural activities etc. which are all a part of the camp.
Some sports enthusiasts were seen participating in Swimming, Skating, Tennis and Badminton. Expert instructors supervising the children helped them pick up the intricacies. Art and Craft activities offered the children a chance to learn varied styles of art to express themselves. A favorite amongst the students at the camp were dance and music activities. Children dabbled in Indian and Western dances while some nurtured their passion for Indian/Western music.
This twelve day Summer Camp is open for all. Children from across the city can register themselves for their favorite activities.
Speaking about the Summer Camp, Ms. Rita Kaul, Principal, The Millennium School, Noida said, “Summer vacations can be a time for rejuvenation and we at Millennium Schools believe that children must make the most of it. We organized this Camp to ensure that children can learn new skills or further develop those they already have.
