Report by Santanu Ganguly: Indian model and actress Shilpi Sharma will be the show stopper for designer Randell Gomes at a glittering event to be held in Goa. Fashion designer Randell Gomes is happy to have Shilpi Sharma—who is very often mistaken for the actress-turned DJ who shares the same name and also bears an uncanny similarity in appearance. The event is organized by the Forum for Promoting Employment and Entrepreneurship in Goa (FPEEG) and will be held at Panjim.
Shilpi Sharma who has been modelling for the last 3–4 years, both as a ramp and fashion model, recently returned to Mumbai after shooting for a Tamil film. She is supposedly signed on for a film opposite Tamil star Venkatesh, but refused to speak about it. "I am talking to the producer as of now. Nothing is finalized,“ is all Shilpi Sharma had to say.
