EFT Report, Hong Kong: The largest food and hospitality tradeshow in Asia-Pacific region, HOFEX 2013, will return to Hong Kong from May 7–10, 2013! Stepping into its 15th edition, HOFEX will take the stage on the largest scale ever.
With an exhibition size of over 60,000m2, the show will further expand to Hall 5 and occupy 13 halls on 3 levels of HKCEC. Over 1,900 international suppliers and distributors of food, beverages, foodservice equipment, hospitality design and technology, including 40+ national pavilions, will showcase their latest quality products. It is expected that over 35,000 professional buyers such as hoteliers, restaurateurs, GMs, executive chefs etc. will come visit HOFEX for sourcing purpose.
Dating back to 2011, HOFEX occupied 11 halls with 48,000m2 exhibition space and hosted 1,800 premium international exhibiting companies from 48 countries, including 44 national groups. The show welcomed a record high of 33,409 visitors, of which 30% was overseas buyers from 85 countries and regions. Most importantly, many of the buyers were decision-makers from the food & beverage, wholesale, import, retail and hotel sectors who led straight to business. In the coming episode, HOFEX will continue to serve as a premier meeting place to connect overseas suppliers with buyers from China and other countries in Asia-Pacific.
