EFT Report, Bangalore: The fabulous adventures of Aditi and friends is based on the delightful series written by Suniti Namjoshi (published by Tulika). The play features the adventures of an unusual group of friends – a monkey, an ant, an elephant, 2 dragons and a little girl – as they set off to rescue their friend from the clutches of an unreasonable giant who lives inside the Mount Vesuvius. The narrative unfolds in a non-linear format, moving back and forth the past and the present. While the play is set in the present day, it holds within it all the flavours of a fairy tale. The duration of the bilingual (English and Kannada) performance is 40 minutes (about an hour including interactions before and during the show).
