EFT Report, Jakarta: American rock band Aerosmith, who are on their ‘Global Warming World Tour’, have cancelled their gig in Indonesia capital Jakarta scheduled for this coming Saturday (May 11) after authorities foiled a bomb plot targeting the Myanmar Embassy. The ‘Livin on the edge’ hit-makers were scheduled to perform at the JIEXPO Kemayoran Jakarta for a nearly sold-out crowd of 15,000. There was no immediate indication they would reschedule.
The band issued an apology: “Despite having a massive fan base in Indonesia, the band says: “Unfortunately, we have to cancel our upcoming show in Jakarta. We want to apologize to all our fans who were expecting to see us and hope that one day we can make it up to them.”
