92.7 Big FM Delhi Partners With Whirlpool for ‘Big Garmi Ki Chhutti’

Report by Santanu Ganguly: 92.7 BIG FM Delhi has partnered with renowned consumer durables brand, Whirlpool for a special summer initiative called ‘BIG Garmi ki Chutti’. The distinctive campaign aims at rejuvenating listeners across Delhi through an innovative on-air contest ‘Jo Hit Tha Aur Hamesha Hit Rahega’ keeping them cool and refreshed all summer. Introduced as an hour-long special segment starting 9am, the contest enables listeners to win Whirlpool refrigerators by linking songs to yesteryears’ most-loved artists from the Indian film industry.

BIG Garmi Ki Chhutti is a month-long campaign on 92.7 BIG FM Delhi where listeners get the chance to beat the Delhi heat and the soaring stress levels with a cool break in the comfort of their own homes. With more than 2000 entries and close to 15 Whirlpool refrigerators making their way to lucky listeners thus far, the hour-long segment provides listeners with tips and factoids about how to stay cool during the scorching summers. As a part of the contest, wherein listeners were urged to name all the songs of a yesteryear star that played during the segment. To participate in the contest, listeners were asked to SMS their responses to BIG_COOL_ to 55454. The one listener with the most correctly identified songs for the day would win the coveted Whirlpool Neo IChill refrigerator which was presented to them at the Whirlpool dealership in Delhi.
