EFT Bureau, New Delhi: Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh will pay a three day official visit to Germany from April 10–12, 2013, during which the second round of Inter-Governmental Consultations will be held in Berlin.
External Affairs Secretary Ranjan Mathai said cooperation in the field of trade and commerce, science and technology, education particularly vocational education and culture will be high on agenda during bilateral discussions between the two sides.
External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid, Commerce & Industry Minister Anand Sharma, HRD Minister Pallam Raju, Science & Technology Minister Jaipal Reddy, Renewable Energy Minister Farooq Abdullah and National Security Advisor Shiv Shankar Menon are part of the high-level Indian delegation.
The prime minister's engagements include a cultural ceremony to bring to a close the "Days of India in Germany" that was launched in May last year to mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
