Report by Santanu Ganguly, New Delhi: Dekho captures inspirational conversations with designers, with a focus on India. The conversations are recorded over time (sometimes over few months), developing each story into journeys of the people and practices showcased. The visual design of each story is informed by its content, preserving the diverse flavors and making the turn of each page a fresh experience.
Amardeep Behl (Design Habit), Orijit Sen and Gurpreet Sidhu (People Tree), MP Ranjan (Design for India Blog), Neelakash K (Mayek Projects) and Lakshmi Murthy (Vikalp Design) share their experiences in designing for India in a discussion on April 10.

Exhibition featuring spreads from the book and sketches and photographs giving a glimpse to the design and production stages of the publication.
Dekho has been nominated for Design Museum’s prestigious Designs of the Year awards, Dekho is the only shortlisted nomination from India this year, standing amongst eminent entries from across the world and bringing the untold stories of Indian design to a global platform.
Dekho is the first of its kind effort at self-publishing an Indian perspective on the practice and context of designing for and in India.
