EFT Report, London: Tottenham Hotspur’s star Gareth Bale has added another feather to his ever-growing status as the 23-year-old Wales international winger on Sunday (April 28) was awarded both the PFA Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards, becoming only the third man to win the double accolade, Andy Gray (1976-77) and Cristiano Ronaldo (2006-7). This is also his second PFA Player of the Year, having previously won it in 2010/11.
‘It’s a massive honour. To be voted by your peers is one of the biggest things in the game. It’s great to win it and I am delighted, says Bale.
Gareth Bale is having a wonderful season under Andre Villas-Boas at White Hart Lane, having scored 22 times this season in all competitions for the London club.
