Former British PM Margaret Thatcher ‘Iron Lady’ Passes Away

EFT Report, London: Britain's only female Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, popularly known as the "Iron Lady" for her personal and political toughness, has died at the age of 87 after suffering a stroke today (April 8). She is survived by her husband Denis Thatcher and two children.

Thatcher, a stern Conservative leader, successfully led the British government between 1979-1990 and retired from public life after a stroke in 2002 and suffered several strokes after that.
