EFT Report, London: English football governing body the FA (The Football Association) has confirmed that the FA Cup final between Manchester City and Wigan Athletic will kick off at 5.15PM (London time) on May 11, a week before the end of Premier League at Wembley.
Goals from Sergio Aguero and Samir Nasri were enough for Roberto Mancini’s City to reach their second final in 3-years beating Chelsea FC 2-1 in their Semi-Final encounter, while Wigan Athletic overcame Millwall 2-0 to secured their first ever FA Cup final date thanks to goals from Shaun Maloney and Callum McManaman.
This year’s FA Cup, the oldest football competition in the world, winners will get £1.8 million while the runners-up will pocket £900,000.
