EFT Report, Emirates: Arsene Wenger has confirmed that his Arsenal FC players will form a guard of honor for the newly crowned English champions Manchester United when they play against them at Emirates on Sunday (April 28).
It is not a compulsory thing to do but it has become a tradition for opponents to applaud the new champions on to the pitch once the league title is secure, Manchester United have done it for other clubs, including Arsenal, under Sir Alex Ferguson in the past.
Coming back into the match, it’s a must win game for Arsenal FC who are chasing for a top 4 spot finish. Gunners’ will be without the injured playmaker Mikel Arteta (ankle) and striker Olivier Giroud, who is facing a 3-match ban.
