EFT Report, New Delhi: The play is based on real incident of rape in Delhi. Right from the olden times women are being treated differently and ill behaved. Time and again her behavior is questioned. Male dominated societies always tried to establish that women should live in the shadows of males. The same tradition is continuing till date and the role of women is restricted to menial jobs. But the time is changing and dissatisfied voices of AHILYA to NIRBHAYA are being noticed. It is time to listen to their voices and violence on women in any form should be opposed. Crimes including rapes on women is byproduct of consumer society.
This play explores the mindsets of traditions and attitude towards the deprived and oppressed women.
