Doordarshan Krishi Samman Awards 2013 in Mumbai on Feb. 13

EFT Bureau: Mumbai: Doordarshan Mumbai will honor 11 progressive farmers from Maharashtra on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 with Doordarshan Shyadri Krishi Samman Awards 2013. Every year Doordarshan Sahyadri selects 11 best Agriculturists who have done notable work in the field of agriculture.

The following farmers/entrepreneurs have been selected for these prestigious awards in 11 categories:

Addressing a Press Conference in Mumbai today the Channel Head of Doordarshan Sahyadri, Mr. Mukesh Sharma said, “Doordarshan as a public broadcaster has recognized its duty to keep farmers abreast of latest developments in agriculture and also honor those who have done remarkable work”. The 6th Doordarshan Sahyadri Krishi Samman Awards 2013 function will be held at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi, Mumbai. Dr. Sudhir Goyal, Addl. Chief Secretary, Agriculture and Marketing, Maharashtra Government will be the Chief Guest at the event.
