EFT Report, New Delhi: The Indian Cancer Society is kicking off its 'Artistes Against Cancer Campaign 2013' with a concert in aid of Cancer Awareness and Medical Assistance by World renowned flutist Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia at beautiful Bahai Centre's Lotus temple on Saturday, February 2, 2013.
The concert series 'Artistes Against Cancer' has been a well acclaimed initiative by the Indian Cancer Society in creating awareness against cancer. Reputed artistes have freely and passionately joined hands with the Society to raise funds for cancer awareness and spread the message that cancer is curable if detected early.
Artistes of the calibre of Shovana Narayan, Shubha Mudgal, Birju Maharaj and Shujaat Hussain Khan have already performed for this initiative of the society.
Indian Cancer Society, Delhi, will celebrate 2013 as the year of Breast Cancer Awareness. ‘Celebrate,’ because every case detected early is a Life Saved.
