Chelsea FC captain John Terry says he will not be contesting against FA’s 4-match ban and will be giving the £220,000 fine imposed on him after he was found guilty of insulting QPR’s Anton Ferdinand at Loftus Road last season.
I want to take this opportunity to apologize to everyone for the language I used in the game, Terry said in a statement.
The 31-year-old will miss Chelsea’s Premier League and League Cup matches against Manchester United, as well as this coming weekend clash against Tottenham.
