Mumbai will face water cuts for two days starting Monday, May 7, 2012 owing to the repairing of pipelines along the Eastern Express Highway, a civic official said.
The pipeline work will be completed by Tuesday evening.
While areas like Nahur, Bhandup, Kanjurmarg, and Vikhroli in central Mumbai will face a 100 percent cut in water supply on Monday and Tuesday, Kurla, Govandi, Chembur, Deonar and Mulund, also in central Mumbai will have to face a 40 percent water cut.
The remaining areas in the city will get 20 percent less water from May 7–8.
