World Series Hockey Postponed to Feb. 29

The multi-crore World Series Hockey (WSH), which was to begin on December 17, 2011 has been postponed to February 29, 2012. The final of the Rs 100-crore event will be held on April 1, 2012 in Delhi.

WSH will now be played after the Olympic qualifiers, which will be held from Feb. 15-26, 2012. The event was postponed because several Indian players pull out of the WSH to join the national camp in Bangalore for the Olympic Qualifiers.
