Berklee Concert to Honor Lexington's Scott on Dec. 8

The Berklee College of Music will pay tribute to Lexington resident and longtime voice instructor Maggie Scott, who has hosted a jazz vocal night for the school for the past 30 years.

The concert, called "Celebrating Maggie Scott: 30 years of Jazz Vocal Night," will be held at the Berklee Performance Center at 136 Massachusetts Ave. in Boston at 8.15 pm on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011.

Scott is a veteran jazz pianist, vocalist and recording artist who has been teaching voice at Berklee since 1978.

Tickets to the concert are $15 to $20 and are available at www.berkleebpc.com or at the box office.
