EFT Report: After spending almost £300 million during his three-year reign and with no silverware to show for, Brendan Rodgers was sacked by Liverpool FC on Sunday after the Reds drew 1-1 with Merseyside rivals Everton, a result that leaves them 10th in the Premier League table after 8 games, 6 points off the pace of leaders Manchester City. Liverpool have only won one of their last nine games in 90 minutes.

Former Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp and ex Chelsea and Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti are the favourites for the vacant Liverpool post.
Rodgers was appointed Liverpool manager in 2012 and guided them to runners-up position in the Premier League in the 2013–14 season.
