EFT Report, New York: New York City is geared up to celebrate the annual Fleet Week 2013 from May 23–30, 2013. It is the City's celebration of the sea services. Fleet Week provides an opportunity for the citizens of New York City and the surrounding Tri-State area to meet Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen.
Those Navy men and women are back on the town for a week of sightseeing and some high jinx on the side. Civilians can join in the fun too, visiting nine ships docked in city harbors and partaking of musical performances, military demonstrations and a Memorial Day ceremony.
