EFT Report, Bangalore: David, a young waiter, falls in love with Marie, a literature student. He only manages to impress her after a manuscript he finds accidentally is published as 'his' novel. This plagiarism spurs on David's career - that is until Jacky appears, the real author of the book. But he too turns out to be an imposter. Alain Gsponer studied at the Bern School of Design from 1996 to 1997. At the same time, he was an employee of the Programmkino in Aarau. In 1997, he switched to the Baden-Wurttemberg Film Academy in Ludwigsburg. During his studies he worked as a radio journalist. He won the audience award at the Saarbrucken Film Festival for his graduation film Kiki + Tiger.
